Refine & Explore: Body Mechanics - Ready from the Start

Ashtanga yoga is a powerful, deep practice, best known for its linear approach and challenging nature.

The practice offers a framework to refine our awareness and expand our understanding from the firm foundation that working with the body provides.

The intensity and complexity of the sequence of postures that we typically practice require to step back now and then, and bring some perspective into the work that we do. Only then, may we establish an honest, life long relationship with the practice. Only then, it will become a tool for awakening.

And so, we will address some of the most elusive movements of the practice on a series of Saturday workshops scheduled regularly.

This work will refresh your approach, refine your understanding, renew your commitment, and make you fall in love with the practice -being for the first time or once again.

Next one coming up is on Saturday 28th of September from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Refine & Explore: Body Mechanics - Ready from the Start

In this workshop, we will look into some of the main body mechanics involved in Ashtanga yoga. They seem obvious, but they are not. And they show up at the very initial stages, right from the Sun Salutations.

It is highly recommended for students with a thirst for knowledge and an open mind, who are ready to take their practice one step deeper.
